Anyone here think that macworld will drop the white macbook and bring down the price of the aluminum model to 1099 and the backlight to 1399 or something of this sort. Will we see a price drop this year at macworld?

If something like a price drop were to happen and I bought my Macbook within 30 days before, would I be refunded the difference?

Apple will not update the Macbook Line this shortly after the October update.
The white macbooks are here to stay for a little bit longer and Apple needs 3 types of basic portables. Since the Combo Drive is gone, I don't think a lot of people would be happy if the prices stayed the same but there was no white macbook and the cheapest Mac Portable would be 1299, I also think the unibody still costs a little more than the plastic structure to build.
