I've been ripping CDs onto my computer just fine using MacX DVD ripper pro. But today, for some reason, it will stop at about 20 minutes and say that it's done.

What is this? Can the settings have been messed with by accident?
I'm totally not computer savvy so somebody help me out pleeeeeease!

    Thanks.

I can't really help you with the software you mentioned but you can certainly do a few things -
clean the cd or test another cd
check to see how full your hard drive is (too full, and you can't copy more)
try using iTunes to rip your CD (you can select lossless if that is desired)
there is a software called XLD. It works well but you have to set your prefs.

Are you ripping a music CD or a movie DVD? A music CD shouldn't take 20 minutes to rip. If it's a DVD, maybe it has a new copy protection scheme that MDRP hasn't accounted for yet - are you running the latest version?

also newer DVDs (assuming you are ripping a movie) often change the encryption so that you need a new version of the ripper for it to work. I've had this problem for a long time. sometimes a new version of the ripping program will solve the problem.

a lot depends on what DVD you are trying to rip.
