After noticing how quickly the battery drained on the iPhone when listening to the radio, I decided to buy a car charger for it. I went to the AT&T store and they wanted $28 for a car charger. While looking at the product I noticed it works for the iPod also, then I remembered seeing a Mad Catz iPod Kit at our local "Tuesday Morning" store for $12.99.
Needless to say, I purchased the kit which comes with car adapter, rca cable, usb/firewire cable, headphone splitter and [the only thing I couldn't use] a plastic case for the iPod. All items work perfectly with the iPhone at a much better price.
I may be the only new iPhone user who didn't know they were interchangeable but thought I'd pass the info along just in case there is anyone as uninformed as I am.
