I have a MacBook and was wondering how playable Madden '08 for Mac would be. Any insight before I install it.

Madden 08 lags like crap on my brothers PC that has a Radeon 9600 Pro, and thats a dedicated card. And this is on the lowest settings.
I'd say try the demo and see.

System Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later; an 1.83GHz or faster Intel Core Duo processor Mac; 1GB of RAM; 6GB free hard-disk space; a ATI X1600 series or later or NVIDIA GeForce 7300 or later video card; and a DVD-ROM drive. This game doesnt support the GMA950 integrated graphics card.

It apparently doesn't support the X3100 either.
Apparently not supported on this architecture. Would be nice to have known before buying it, but whatever. Back to the shop I go 😛
Cancel that, i got it to work. Copied the installation disc image onto my HD, went into the contents of the package and there's a Game icon in there which it ran from. Sorted.

Don't even bother, Madden sucks on the Mac...play it on the console.
