Made2Dock aluminum universal dock

Anybody heard or tried the Made2dock universal dock? I understand they have speaker holes machined in but I was wondering if they do any good in projecting the sound out. Is the sound at all distorted? The docks look great, just curious if anyone could share their experiences.

Love those freaking docks, so heavy and perfect, if you are a badass and have an ikea or easily worked on wood table, by the in desk one and drill a hold to drop it in, my friend did it and he basically docks his iphone in his desk.
