I want to subscribe a magazine for Mac. Which one? Macworld, MacLife,...? Suggestions!

Thanks.

I subscribe to Macworld also, but there is quite a bit of advertising in it, but other than that it's pretty good.

If you ask for others' opinions, how exactly does that help you make your decision? Any of the magazines you mention have been around and can be considered "good" by various individuals. Other people telling you what they like does not mean that you will share their opinion.

Who are you to know what will help me or not?
Don't want to share your opinion, be quiet.

This'll be a big help: I subscribe to both MacWorld and Mac|Life.

Of the two, though, I've lately been enjoying Mac|Life more.

OP: While I agree someone else's opinion shouldn't affect how you like a single issue, it can certainly be helpful when committing to a subscription. You're asking about a track record - and since you can't flip through a years worth of issues at the newsstand, someone else's opinion is valuable. That's my opinion, anyway...

I am thinking in a digital subscription. I read MacWorld digital is the same of print one. I don't know about Mac Life digital.

I subscribe to both MacWorld and Mac|Life. I think I actually enjoy reading Mac|Life more myself. Has good reviews and helpful articles on things I would actually use in OS X. MacWorld seems to have more iPhone stuff than anything else anymore unless there is a recent Apple hardware or software release for them to review.

I buy the UK magazine MacFormat. It's a much better magazine than the American ones (a lot less advertising and takes itself less seriously) and better than the rather pathetic MacWorld Australia which mostly just re-prints the same reviews from the American version. MacFormat covers pretty much all Mac and iPhone usage to some degree with reviews, tutorials, etc. The only problem I have with it is that the reviews tend to be quite short and more information would sometimes be nice ... plus it's getting damn expensive down here in New Zealand (I might have to subscribe and hope the postman doesn't destroy it trying to shove it through the letterbox).

I used to buy mac format and macworld but these days I don't see the point, there websites have far more up to date info than the magazines!
maybe with the ipad they'll come out with something worth paying for again but right now its not worth the money

I prefer Mac|Life myself. The tone of the magazine just seems more fun.

However I have noticed that both Mac|Life and MacWorld have a lot of the same stories anyway
