You might want to mention only the 12.9 size is on sale, and that it’s the older version. The 11” iPP/10.9 iPad Air model is not.

How much of an issue is it? 200 bucks vs 350 bucks.
From what I've read, it may be a little snug when closed. Some owners of the 2021 12.9 say they have trouble finding a difference between the two.

I'm not sure whether the 3rd/4th MKB will close well over a 2021 12.9 that has a glass screen protector. A plastic protector should be no problem. Still, BB has a 15-day return policy, so the savings would make it worth checking out.

At any rate, I have an Apple Refurbished 2018 12.9 256GB that is out for delivery and I was hoping for a sale on the MKB, so this is really timely.

2020 Magic Keyboard fits the M1 12.9 iPad better in my opinion, using the 2021 has a small gap between the screen and the keyboard where the 2020 one is completely sealed all the way round.

After watching videos comparing the Apple, Logitech and Brydge keyboards, was hoping to justify one of the lesser expensive keyboards. MKB comes out ahead in most areas. Then I looked at several YouTube reviews and the consensus is that the gen. 5 12.9 iPad Pro will fit in the gen. 4 MKB. So I searched pricing to see prices and just ordered one from BestBuy For $199. WOW!

One thing I’ve noticed comparing the black 2020 with the white 2021 MKB is the white seems a bit smoother almost like they are using a different material, anyone know if the black 2021 feels the same or is it exactly the same fingerprint magnet material to last years?

Got my keyboard today. So far, liking it, but as noted, a bit on the heavy side but typing is great. Absolutely no tightness or misfit. Don’t know what Apple was thinking.

Also note this is the previous gen which works with the new 12.9 but is not 100% perfectly sized for it. Won't be an issue for most people, but some would notice and care.

I have a 2021 iPad Pro and am using it with my 2020 MKB and I can’t find anything wrong here. It fits just as good as it did on the 2020 iPad Pro before I returned that. I guess if I pulled out a caliper I could find a difference, but for use no one will notice.

This deal is a steal.

Order open box and they sent me a sealed brand new one with small cut in plastic
WOW!!! I know that feeling. About 17 years ago now we had to get a really good vacuum cleaner due to a health issue of our three year old. So we bought a Rainbow off ebay that was "open box". Regular price was $2400 and we got it for $600 with full warranty. Kinda skeptical, but we really needed it. We got it and it was literally NEW and sealed with a corner of the box dented. We still have it and use it regularly. We have only had to replace one part for $5 in this entire time.
