Magic Keyboard and Trackpad will not charge, why?

Do you know why my Magic Keyboard and Trackpad seemingly will not charge when I'm using either of these power supplies:

• Original Apple power adapter (the one supplied with my M1 MacBook Pro)
• Samsung travel adapter USB-C Fast charger
• Apple USB charger
• Satechi power bank with USB-C

But will charge fine when connected to my MacBook M1 Pro or my Thunderbolt dock?

Different cables have been tried. All contacts are clean.

They need a non-smart (ie not USB-C PD) source of power because they can’t negotiate with the PD PSUs you have. So the PSU doesn’t produce any charging voltage.
