iPad Pro Magic Keyboard: how will it hold up after 5 years?

It’s an expensive accessory and its material doesn’t seem like it could keep in like new condition after 5 years.

How long has everyone have theirs? How is it holding up? Do you guys think it’s wise to buy it wanting to keep it with iPad Pro for more than 5 years?

I have no doubts that an iPad can stay like new for many years thanks to its aluminum body, but I seriously doubt that would be the case with the Magic Keyboard.
