iPad Pro Magic Keyboard input lag with iOS 15 Mail app

Hi all. Wonder if anyone else is seeing the following... I have a 2018 iPad Pro (1TB) with a Magic Keyboard. I updated to iOS 15 and now when I hit Command-N to start a new message, I have to wait a beat or two before entering the recipient's email address. Otherwise, the iPad does not register the first couple characters and -- of course -- the email is then wrong. It's minor, but super annoying since it goes against muscle memory.

Anyone else seeing this?

Also, do others experience slower Mail app animations -- like how a message moves off the screen after hitting send?

Animations are definitely slower with OS15. Hopefully Apple will continue to tweak things… I’ve noticed a few bugs (on-screen keyboard got stuck half-way up on Safari on my new mini 6 which then crashed Safari back to the Springboard.
