Has anyone else got this issue with one of the new Magic Keyboards?
My enter/return key has a squeak every time you strike the key. Good example of the issue here (not my video):
I've gone through a keyboard already and onto my second.
The first one - thought I might have just been fussy, but I ended up calling Apple Support to see if it was a hardware issue. Weirdly, you can't give a serial number of a peripheral, so I gave over my serial of the MacBook Air I was using. After speaking to someone and telling them that it wasn't the keyboard on the MacBook Air I was then asked to try resetting the PRAM(!) and a few other things to check that it wasn't a software issue... bit mad, but anyway, they decided, yes its a hardware issue.
Took the keyboard back to a retail store and swapped it right away... but this keyboard squeaks in exactly the same way. Decided to live with it and hoping that it might break in at some point. Just haven't got the time now to go back to a store, explain whats been going on and swap again, just to get another keyboard that squeaks.
