The trackpad pointer on my Magic Keyboard has been acting jumpy and somewhat unstable or the last day. The pointer on the screen shakes around a bit even when i leave my finger perfectly still on the trackpad, I can also notice it moves somewhat awkwardly across the screen when I’m making longer movements but its a little hard to describe. Ive noticed my hands have been very dry the last couple of days from washing them so much... could this be a reason?

In the 7 weeks I've had my MK, I've had that occur twice within a 24-hour period, and it hasn't happened again. Replacing the iPP onto the magnets fixed it, but of course I'm still wondering what caused it in the first place. If it happens again, I'll note the app I was in.

It was pretty annoying, I also tried removing and replacing the iPad back on to the magnets but it didn’t solve the issue for me...
It’s been working as should be expected for the last hour or so of use but I’m hoping it was just a software glitch and nothing hardware related.
I was attempting to purchase apple care for my MKB but couldn’t find out how to, I didn’t find it available on the apple site and after doing some digging I found some articles that stated that it should be covered under the umbrella (Ella Ella ay) of the IPad pros apple care plus. although that doesn’t make much sense to me as Ive had my iPad Pro for over a year already; i very much doubt apple will happily cover the new purchase under it.

You should be covered and only have to pay the $29 fee for the Magic Keyboard, should you later have a problem with it.

What’s being described is software related.

I agree, you should be covered under the terms of the Agreement, but it's always ok to call or chat with Support to make sure.

Here's the Agreement language for iPads purchased between 9/10/19 and 3/17/20 (there's other versions at apple.com/legal/sales-support for other purchase date periods if period doesn't apply to yours):

"The Plan covers the following equipment (collectively, the “Covered Equipment”): (i) the Apple Watch, HomePod, iPad (including an Apple Pencil and an Apple-branded iPad keyboard purchased for use with your iPad, referred to as “iPad Input Devices”), iPhone, iPod, or the Apple- or Beats-branded headphones listed on your Plan Confirmation (“Covered Device”), (ii) the accessories contained inside the original packaging of your Covered Device, and (iii) an AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme Base Station, and an AirPort Time Capsule, which are used with a HomePod or an iPad that is a Covered Device and are purchased no earlier than two years before the HomePod or the iPad (“Connectivity Device”)."
