Trackpad, I just don't like the buttonless magic mouse. It's also small and thin, my big hand gets cramps. I like the magic trackpad much better, but going mouse it would be something other than the magic mouse.

I use both on my 24" iMac . Trackpad on left, mouse on right.

When I bought my iMac I selected a Trackpad because I knew I wouldn't like the Magic Mouse. Bought myself a Logitech Performance MX and now have the best of both worlds, although I normally use the mouse.

+1 for the Trackpad. I find the gestures are so much easier to use for general tasks such as web browsing.
If you need to be precise (eg. photo editing) get a mouse with more ergonomics than the MagicMouse. Your hand and wrist will thank you for it!

Both. The trackpad is fine for most stuff, but I still struggle with dragging/dropping without a mouse. And for work on graphics, the magic mouse is the only way to go.

I have to say that I use and enjoy both equally. It is only ever a matter of which one is charged/nearest to me when I am using my iMac.
