Magic Mouse 2, Magic Tradpad 2 or MS Arc Mouse for iPad OS?

Hi, I am considering to buy a mouse for my IPP 12.9" running iPad OS. Do we get only basic mouse functions under iPad OS? Can we use multi touch features of Magic Mouse 2? Is Magic Trackpad 2 better than these two? Can I use Apple Pencil on the Magic Trackpad 2 the way I use it on the screen?

Magic Mouse 2 still doesn't work with latest iPadOS beta release though I'd anticipate it will later.

Thanks. Is there a document to let users know what sort of mouse features will be supported/added eventually? For example, number of mouse buttons, multi-touch features on the mouse/trackpad, using Apple Pencil to write on trackpad 2 as if writing on the screen, etc. If they will eventually add multi-touch features, maybe better to buy Apple Magic Mouse 2 or Trackpad 2 (later).
