Magic Mouse: Can I click or double tap to click, without making the "click noise?"

Similar to the Mac trackpad...which allows me to double tap to click on things, without the loud physical click noise.

can I do something like that with the magic mouse? I want to be able to click on websites, etc, without the noise....

No. The click for the MM2 is still physical not like the Mac trackpad or Magic Trackpad 2, which are of the Force Touch/Taptic Engine family.

Good answer! I double tap the center all time too to bring up Mission Control. Never thought about remapping that function.

So, yes you can get a silent click out of a Magic Mouse with a third party tool.

i doubt that the sound can be disabled though since it's a physical button.
