Magic Mouse doesn't work with Energizer rechargeable batteries

I can use regular Energizer batteries, and the Magic Mouse's own rechargeable batteries, but it won't accept Energizer rechargeables. I'e tried both 1300 mAh and 2450 mAh, with no luck. Has anybody else had this problem?😕

I'm using 1300 energiser rechargeable batteries in my magic mouse and keyboard with no problems.
