Magic Mouse - inertial scrolling problem

Hey guys, I have a unibody macbook pro 15" with leopard 10.5.8, installed the magic mouse software update. The mouse does scroll, however it doesnt have that smooth inertial scrolling when you flick like the mouse does with the iMac.

Anyone else have this issue? Not sure what it could be, unless I have a defective mouse.

Inertia (momentum) scrolling is only available for 10.6.x. Sorry.

Oh really, I thought you get the same functionality with the software update.

I would have thought so too, and was surprised to see that footnote myself. (It's at the bottom of the page http://www.apple.com/magicmouse/.)
