I'm using a magic mouse with my iMac. It keeps loosing the connection. It just stops responding to movements or button clicks. Many times a message appears on my iMac screen saying Connection Lost. Any ideas on why this is happening? This happens several times a day and it is really annoying when I'm in the middle of playing Plants vs. Zombies.

You could change the battery to be 100% sure that's not the problem.

Do you have any other bluetooth devices that might be crossing signals? It's not supposed to be a problem but it's worth consideration.

If all else fails, try trading mice with another Mac to see if the problem happens on the other computer too.

I hope it's not the obvious explanation: Murphy's Law!

This worked perfectly.

The ole "folded post-it note between the batteries" trick worked great. Thanks for sharing.
