Magic Mouse Not Connecting

First and foremost: I've searched all over and have tried several "remedies" but none have worked.

I bought a refurb iMac about 2 months ago and it came with a Magic Mouse, which to my surprise, I love. However, I just tried to replace the batteries and now it's not connecting. Any suggestions? I've tried turning everything off/on, disconnect/reconnect.. etc.

1. lights on the mouse light up?

2. try connecting it manually, trough your bluetooth options,

3. try other bluetooth devices to connect.

When it begins searching for it you need to click the mouse (twice?) and it will complete the connection.

I used to have the same problem as you and found these instructions on MR.

Bringing up BT config and random-click the Mouse usually does the job!

If it doesn't you could also try to manually disconnect the M-Mouse in the BT options of your iMac; so to say let the Mac forget about the mouse. And then BT config again & random click! ;-)

Should work.
