Someone please recommend a decent mouse. The stock one keeps losing connection becomes a pain after a while. Something that works well for gaming would be preferable.

Logitech Performance MX, Logitech G700s or Razer Orochi are the more common choices for people who don't like the Magic Mouse. The G700s is fairly new (replaces the G700) and has some kind of anti-slip surface.

I agree it is very very poorly designed.

It looks good and sleek, but is that really the point of a mouse that you use 5< hours a day?

My hand cramps within an hour trying to hover over the magic mouse, you can't rest your hand on it.

Ideal for 5 minutes, not anymore.

I agree with the Logitech above. Miles better.
