I just got the new Magic Mouse delivered today. I had to update OSX, it installed fine, but right now it is only working as a regular mouse. The Apple tutorial shows a separate "Mouse" tab in System Preferences to add one touch click, scrolling etc. (like the trackpad option), but in my system preferences I only have a 'mouse and keyboard' option which will only let me adjust mouse speed, but not add on the features of the mouse.

Perform another software update. It will install a mouse driver update (or something along those lines). This will enable the Magic Mouse multi-touch features in your system. Users have also reported issues with third party mouse software and have had to uninstall them to be able to use the multi-touch features.
