I bought a Magic Mouse at the same time as I ordered my MBPr. (June 12) Things have been fine until two days ago when the MM just stopped responding. Changed the batteries. Nada!😡

The Bluetooth window in Settings indicates that the MM is connected so I disabled IT and instigated the Search procedure. The system looks for it but doesn't find it (after an hour of leaving it to its own devices).

When I switch the MM on, I get a solid green light on the base for about three seconds which then changes to a double quick flash/pause/double quick flash/pause ....... until I switch it off.

To get back to the Apple store for a replacement is a major undertaking so any suggestions on getting MM working again would be appreciated

Thanks

It sounds like you are doing everything correctly to detect the mouse and it is just broken. 🙁

Took the MM for a test at the Apple Store and it connected right away. Brought it home and ........ same deal. It works again. A Magical Mystery Mouse.
