Magic Mouse

Just bought the Magic Mouse. There's no scroll wheel, but the box shows that you can touch/click on the center and it will scroll. I can't seem to make it do that. If I click and hold, it highlights everything. Hints or tips?

Try just a basic swipe in the middle, make sure other fingers aren't touching

use it like you would the trackpad of a laptop. dont click and scroll, just gently run your finger down the surface.

When I went to download the update it told me I need 10.6.2. How am I able to use the new mouse?

In order to use the new Magic Mouse, you need to be running Leopard (10.5.8) or Snow Leopard (10.6.1) and the appropriate SW update:

It can scroll with other fingers touching; or not (or even two fingers, vertically).
