Magic mouse

Hi,

Still new to Macs and not sure what is supposed to happen when one right clicks on a file. I right click and the screen dims and there is a small image of the file. I thought that one would get options.
Is this what is supposed to happen or have I changed a setting somewhere?

iMac SL 10.6.

System Preferences -> Mouse -> Enable right-click

I found getting a real MS Keyboard and mouse and tossing the little aluminum keyboard and that flat little mouse in the garbage did wonders for my computing!😱

but then I only use Windows 7 via bootcamp on my iMac
