Magic Track Pad and White NON Unibody Macbook

Will the magic track pad work with my 2007 MacBook (White)? The magic mouse is too limited and I wouldnt mind using the magic trackpad

I'm kind of curious, why not just use the trackpad that is built into the case, instead of buying a 2nd, external, one?

I have the same question. However, my reasoning is because I use an external monitor and keyboard (a make-shift desktop). The pad could be useful to me
