For that matter, it's blank below "Tape to click". This is connected to a 2010 Mac Pro.

Stranger thing: I connect another trackpad 2 and the same problem occurs. But when I connect these trackpads to a 2008 Mac Pro, the settings show up.

What gives?

Officially, it requires Bluetooth 4.0 and OS X El Capitan.

With less than that, results may be weird.

I have the same issue with my 2016 rMB. I'm using the Magic Trackpad 2 and the settings for the force touch and haptic feedback are gone since 10.13.6 update. I have tried unpairing and forgetting, repairing through lightning cable. The settings will just not show back up. But the trackpad works with no issues, force touch and all.

so strange... but now that I have used it with and without haptic, I prefer it without. I feel less distracted.
