Magic Trackpad 2 vs Macbook Pro Trackpad

What is the actual difference between the magic trackpad technology and the trackpads embedded in macbook pros? Do we have various specs to compare them?

Bonus question: can the polling rate for magic trackpads be increased? I realize they're currently around 125hz.

The haptic feedback on the Trackpad 2 is firmer and the clicking sound is a lot louder than the Trackpad on the Macbook Pro with Touchbar.
