Magic Trackpad 3 info needed? when was the original release date?

According to this site the 3rd gen (which is confusingly enough still called magic trackpad 2) was released in march 2022.

But i think it was earlier than that, does anyone remember the release date?

(the 3rd gen is the one that has the more rounded corners (compared to the original gen 2) and comes with a braided lightning cable)

That trackpad came out at the same time as the revised Magic Keyboard with the rounded corners and TouchID. So, Wikipedia says for the keyboard...

• May 2021: Bundled with M1 iMac in any of seven colors: silver, pink, blue, green, purple, orange, or yellow
• August 2021: Standalone ($149) (MK293LL/A EMC 3579): Silver
