Magic Trackpad/Magic Mouse combo

Hi

I am currently using the Magic Trackpad and Magic Mouse at the same time and finding it to be a good setup.
However there is one minor annoyance, they are both paired and recognised by the mac but I always have to go into bluetooth prefs and connect to the mouse whereas the pad connects automatically.
Is there any way to make the mac auto connect to both devices at the same time to avoid this?

Delete the mouse from the bt prefs and re-pair it. Should solve the issue

Thanks Tersono, I`ll give it a go. Wasn`t sure if the mac just didn`t like having them both connected at the same time.

Ok, so I have tried deleting and re-pairing both devices now and have exactly the same issue, trackpad connects automatically every time, mouse always needs to be connected from the menu.
Anyone else running this setup who can advise, its not a major problem just annoying.
Previously I just had the mouse and it connected automatically just fine.
