I was able to pair my magic trackpad without issue to my windows 7 box and had limited single click only function.

I've found sites that have the driver and that gave me two finger right click, two finger scrolling, regular right click (right bottom foot) and my issue, tap to drag.

Any and everything I touch is like I am clicking and holding and unusable.

Are there any free solutions out there where I can disable the tap/touch and hold function or have proper OS X like function in Windows 7?

Found what I needed. Disregard Thread. http://code.google.com/p/padset/

great, I was getting tired of things getting randomly highlighted and moved around. Turned off drag lock and tap click and I think it solved my problems. I hope they keep working on it to implement gestures in the future.

Thanks OP for the link to padset
