I had to exchange my iMac. When I restored from backup (Lion) my touchpad is now working funky. I have three finger click set to middle-click in MagicPrefs. But when I do a three finger click, it brings up my Dashboard.
So I closed MagicPrefs and downloaded BetterTouchTool just to test and its doing the same thing. Basically as soon as I enable 3 finger click, it brings up Dashboard, no matter what I have actually set it to (I tried setting it to Launchpad and it still brings up Dashboard).
EDIT: That's not true, if I set it to left or right click it works and a few others work like spotlight. But if I set it to middle click it brings up dashboard instead.
EDIT2: I went into system prefs and changed all the dashboard and launchpad hotkeys and mouse gestures and then changed them right back to what they were and it solved the issue.
