Magnet caused iBook screen to dim??

My girlfriend put her iBook G4 12" 1.2GHz down on the floor but didn't realise there was quite a strong magnet already on the floor which stuck on the bottom of the iBook. She pulled it off but then instantly noticed the screen had gone really dim. She says you can just about see whats on the screen but it's very faint. Any ideas what's happened?

Sounds like she put her ibook on a big magnet on the floor to me!

Does the screen respond to the keyboard brightness and dimming keys? Does it get better after a restart? 🙂

Have you tried checking the brightness settings in system P?....check it out and tell us.
