I do love Magpul cases. When I got my 5S I couldn't find a single case that specifically met my needs, I ended up buying two. The Magpul Field case, and the Element Solace case.
Things I love about the Magpul:
- Slim, lightweight. Does not add to the footprint of the phone much.
- Great material. Unique feel, does not attract lint or dirt, is still grippy.
- Robust, impact absorbent, solid and cohesive high quality feel when on the phone.
Things I dislike about the Magpul:
- The buttons are all far too squishy and vague (sleep/wake and volume).
- The lip on the sides of the screen (held in portrait) are too high, it makes some of the swipe-from-the-side gestures in iOS 7 a bit difficult to execute consistently.
Overall when you take the price of Magpul cases into account, the value is simply unbeatable. One of the best cases available for a mere $15. I expect their Mini case to be similar.
