Hi, can the MagSafe 2 power adapter 85W for macbook retina 15" be used with a macbook 13" retina or non retina macbook 15" with an adapter ? Any overheating ?

You currently can't use it on non-retina MacBook Pros seeing as they haven't been updated to use Magsafe 2

You can use it in all MacBook Pros with Retina Display and the 2012, 2013 MacBook Airs. Previous generations of the MBA still use Magsafe 1
