Magsafe adapter split.

So there has been a kink in my magsafe adapter since I first got it. Today the cord just spit, has this happened to anyone else?

Will apple replace it for free?

If you are under warranty still they WILL replace this.

I have had to do this on two diff. occasions. They will probably give you some slack for it, but in the end, just mention that it is a fire safety. They will swap it out in a hurry.

Both times I mentioned that mine were replaced on the spot in the store.
