Hi as the title suggests I recently picked up the MagSafe battery pack for my iPhone 12 as my battery was draining a lot in work by the time I got home so I figured this might be a good option , but what I like to ask other user is how do you use yours in day to day , I use mine from the moment my alarm goes off and I take both off charge I keep the battery pack on my phone until it runs out basically kind of like how the smart battery cases were intended to be used , im unsure wether this is the best way to use it in terms of damage to the battery’s or anything

Thanks in advance for the replies

I have a iPhone 13pm and will only get back 40% battery.
So i wait until the phone gets to 50% put the magsafe battery pack and let it charge back up to 90%. I don’t use the phone while the battery pack charge the phone because the output of the battery pack is only 5w which is not enough… Your battery will actually drain lol

I’m curious on this too because I got my battery, and like apples past cases it uses the battery first before the phones battery, is it safe to use MagSafe battery first before the phones battery ?

I just attach mine to use as a "top up" when my phone battery gets to like 40% and I have a lot of day left. It has a lot of critics but it works really well. Been a lifesaver for my phone and AirPods.

The most efficient way for most people to use the MagSafe battery puck is to start the day with the puck on the phone and both devices fully charged to 100%.

The only issue (i have notified apple and have not received any reply / response) is that mine constantly charges to 100%. It has an option to charge PAST 90% (the basic default is to try to keep it at 90/91%) but the %%%% thing keeps trying to top of my phone. Wireless charger =/= efficient, so charging to 100% all day kills the pack in just a few hours, making it useless.

However when it does it work properly, it is a small boost throughout the day.
