MagSafe battery pack [likelihood of updates this year?]

What's the likelihood that the MagSafe battery pack for iPhone will be updated in any way this year? Thinking about buying, but might hold off if updates are anticipated. Thoughts?

I’d say close to 0, but only Apple knows. Maybe they will announce some updates at the iPhone event next month

Jumped the gun a little. Seems like there’s a bigger and heavier update coming. Of course these are just rumours at the moment.
