I just came to know about MagSafe Battery Pack.

1. Will it work on a iPhone XR ?
2. Does the cover need to be removed for it to charge ?
3. Can receive calls while charging at the same time ?

1. It will technically charge at a slow pace with Qi, but it will not stick to the XR as the phone doesn't have any magnets. I don't recommend the battery pack for XR (and arguably I don't recommend it event for iPhone 12/13 but for different reasons)
2. You have to remove the MagSafe battery pack to charge the phone wirelessly. If you charge with a cable, you can plug either the phone or the battery pack and it will charge both devices (only with iPhone 12 and 13)
3. Yes

Thank you for your reply @fwmireault but I think I will not get this for the XR in context. It's just that the XR's switching off (or going to 0%) when the battery is at 40% which then has to be plugged in again - battery health says 85% I think and OS updated to latest 15.1. So I thought the person having the XR can use the phone while charging wirelessly.

Battery Max Capacity : 88%
