Last night while using my mac, suddenly the cord got pulled out and the whole screen flashed and then went out, after holding the power button i managed to get it to reboot, only for it to be wizzing the fan on full, and when booted had reset the computer clock, and forgotten the wifi. The cable when I plugged it in would no longer light up (i had had a problem with that a few hours earlier but fixed it) and the battery icon said there was no battery information available. overnight the computer died and now I cannot do anything, does anyone have any advice? im going to try a new adapter later today, could this just be the adapter or is the whole thing broke?
