Can anyone recommend a good car mount that is MagSafe friendly, can work with a MagSafe case attached (fine woven or silicone). Thanks!

Buy an Apple MagSafe charger and stick the supplied plate in the above kit to the back of the MagSafe charger. I was limited for mounting options in my car due to the dashboard design. Holds the phone strongly - my iPhone has fallen off once in 2 years.

I just Velcroed a MagSafe puck in the compartment in front of my shifter. Of course I use CarPlay so don't need to SEE the phone - just charge it.
 
I have this Belkin which still works great with my 15PM
