I have an Apple MagSafe charger (A2140) together with an Apple 20W USB C charger (A2347). Recently I noticed that when the iPhone has been sitting on the charger a while, sometimes the animation and vibration for charging come up a couple of times in a row. The iPhone will charge to 100%, but it seems that the power supply is interrupted. Neither the MagSafe charger, the USB C charger or the iPhone are hot at any time.

When charging through Lightning it also stops at 80% momentarily but the power supply doesn't seem to be interrupted. The USB C charger works fine charging something else.

I'm using an Apple MagSafe case on the iPhone, so I don't think the case should be the issue here. Any ideas?

Yes, I've left Optimized Charging on since I got it.

It seems that connecting it to a Mac updated the firmware on it. Now it works 100% all the time and looking at the MagSafe Info the newer software version is shown.
