Does anyone know if there are USB C to A adapters that will work with the MagSafe charger? I have a car setup that uses a Bluetooth adapter that only has a usb a port to plug into. I have a few usb c to a adapters, but none of them is working with the MagSafe charger. I’m using the ProClip MagSafe holder for the car mount (more on that later!).

I don’t think you’ll get enough voltage out I think 12w is the most I’ve seen and it needs more to work - I can’t even charge it over the USB-C port in my iPad Pro

Makes sense. The car dock came with a cigarette lighter adapter that has usb C and A outlets. USB C works fine to charge, but needed to be able to plug into a usb A or have to replace the Bluetooth adapter. Guess I’ll be replacing the Bluetooth adapter.
