MagSafe Charger

I put this disc on the back of my case and I don’t always get that charging ring that they show in the commercials. It’s charging cause I get the lightening bolt in the corner but not that charging ring in the center unless the screen is off.
Anyone else?

That effect only happens with the Apple MagSafe cases. Are you using a non-Apple case?

I just checked it on both my pro and mini. It only gives me animation on the Lock Screen on both.

That animation doesn’t happen for my saddle brown leather case, black leather case or apple wallet. It might be my ios version, thinking about it, or maybe just another magsafe related fail by apple.

I'm getting the same thing. If my phone screen is off and I put the phone on the magsafe charger, then the phone's UI shows a green circle with "X% charged." However, if the screen is on (e.g. I'm on my home screen), then it just plays a sound and shows the charging icon in the top right.
