1 1283956 macrumors newbie Original poster Aug 22, 2010 #1 My magsafe line got crushed a bit by something, my fault. But is normal for the light on the magsafe to take a second or two to light up as soon as its plugged in? The mac still charges and everything else seems to be normal.

Sheeds macrumors member Aug 22, 2010 #2 Yes, it's perfectly normal, nothing to worry about. And to make sure I just tested my MagSafe and it took a moment before the light indicated anything. 🙂

R94N macrumors 68020 Aug 23, 2010 #4 Yeah, I think there's a delay as the power gets to the battery I suppose, and when the adaptor head detects that and lights up.
