Exactly the same with the leather cases, no immediate rush for Apple to get them up when they aren't available or perhaps ready in volumes large enough to start shipping them out.

I take your point; I have to admit that when I saw this wasn’t available to view on the online store and was accompanied with a vague “coming later” message, thoughts of the AirPower mat drifted into my head. I really hope this product is real; it looks really great.

I'll wait for 3rd party versions... This one is sure to be $100 or $150 from Apple, which is just stupid for a charger.

I like the dual charger. Even the good quality (belkin / mophie) chargers are $$. Hoping affordable, but who am I kidding. Cases that are 10-15$ on amazon, apple is selling for $49 albeit probably higher manufacturing quality (maybe).

Yes I was looking for it on the Apple store too and their event, they didn’t really talk much into the detail about it. Depending on the cost, I wouldn’t mind having one for traveling... looks compact and convenient to charge all my devices on one pad (iPhone, watch and AirPods).

The gorgeous 3-in-1 charger from Belkin is $150. So I might be priced out for a few months until my bank account recovers a bit.
