MagSafe duo losing magnetism? Or just my mind?

I've been finding that getting my iPhone 14 Pro to "snap" to the charger is getting cumbersome. I don't have a case on my iPhone.

I recall when I first got the MagSafe duo, I've never had an issue with it snapping on. Now I'm finding that I have to place the phone directly dead center in order to get it to snap.

Anyone else have this issue?
