I recently bought the MagSafe Duo Charger and went away this past weekend. It was great to take it away with me, and since there was only one accessible plug on the hotel nightstand (without unplugging the lamp or clock), this was perfect. I have no use for fast charging on the watch as I don't wear it to sleep, so thats a non factor. So far, great product.

What power break do you bring with you if I can ask.

We've been using the Duo / 30W brick combo since the beginning. (3 sets) Super convenient and reliable for charging iPhone, Apple watch and AirPods Pros . Great purchase, highly recommended.

Love mine. Put 13 Pro Max and S7 on it every night to charge. Works perfect. Compact for trips. I charge S7 over night so I don’t care if it fast charges the S7.

Because I am well aware of the negativity here regarding this product. I don’t need to read more of the same. I have only one available outlet behind my night stand and I have no space for a large power brick. My options for charging phone snd watch are limited.

I own one, only for travel. The main thing that’s appealing to me is that I don’t have to remember to carry an AW charger for travel. I’ve forgotten an AW charger multiple times, because everything else takes Lightning or USB-C, and somehow my brain forgets about the AW needing the dedicated cable. Now, I can carry the MagSafe Duo and a few Lightning and USB-C cables and I’m set.

For your situation, though, I’ll note you have a very simple alternative depending on your aesthetic preferences: you can buy a flat multiport USB charger with ports on the side. Nekmit has very good flat chargers of all shapes and sizes. I use one at home to set up charging for my AirPods and my Watch in a situation where I don’t want cables sticking out.

I have one that I carry in my travel bag. Saves carrying a tangle of two other chargers and cables. It is also very handy in my RV where I only have a couple of 120v outlets that run off my batteries.

Hey guys, was requested to post here my feedback.

It's pretty straight forward, someone gave it to me as a Christmas present. I use it as my Travel Charger since it's a 2 in 1 charger and that means I wouldn't have to worry to bring anything else besides the Duo and my USB-C charger for my MacBook Pro 14 (and magsafe as well, but always got a USB-C charger because I might want to charge my Switch)

Other than that I don't see any benefits to actually going out and buying it.

I get a bit frustrated when I only have 30-45 mins to take a shower at the hotel and it doesn't charge as fast that's it.

Are you saying that it's easier on you since it's one less charger? It's quite difficult for me to tell.
Yeah, basically I just take the duo and my Mac charger for all my trips. Saves me on cables and bricks, plus it's useful cuz usually most hotels I stay at in Europe only have one plug on the side of the bed.
