Magsafe for M1 Macbook Pro

I would like to get a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to magsafe adaptor for my new M1 macbook pro. Should I get a particular make, and does the use of one effect the charging or the laptop?
Note, I do not need it for data transfer, just to charge.
