My MagSafe comes very hot when I'm recharging my battery (MBP 2010).
Is it normal ?

It's very normal. Mine gets hot when ever I'm doing any hard CPU work. Like encoding a DVD.

The MagSafe adapters are known to get hot. Mine gets hot enough to burn my legs.:D I do use it as a foot warmer though. My 2 brothers also have MacBooks, well one is a MBP, and their adapter generates the same high heat temps.
