Magsafe not charging after plugged out for long time.

I'm a newb macbook pro user. Recently, I found out that my magsafe is not charging macbook pro when I plug into macbook after awhile leaving it unplugged from macbook . while leaving it unplugged, I left it connected to the power source. But, it works fine when I plug it out from power source then plug it back. I'm not sure if this is normal or i have to call apple care.

Take it to a Service Store and ask them to have a look at it. If you don't have access to one, call Apple.
